The PS455M6H solar panel from Phono Solar is an all-black solar module with an output of 455 Wp (or 210 Wp per square metre of roof) and a module efficiency of 21.02%. The module has standard dimensions of 1909 x 1134 x 30 mm and weighs just 25 kg. The glass is 3.2 mm thick with a black back sheet. The product has a 15-year guarantee and a 25-year linear performance guarantee.

This all-black solar module from Phono Solar is equipped with 120 monofacial cells cut in half. Smaller cell size means there is less loss between cells and due to temperature, and low LID (light-induced degradation) PERC technology ensures optimum efficiency and maximum output over a long period.

This solar panel is available as an all-black panel, sometimes also referred to as All Black. In this design, the frame, cells and back sheet are all black. All-black panels work best in full sun, but may experience a slight decrease in efficiency due to higher temperatures. However, the overall difference in performance compared to white or blue cells is negligible, and the choice of design is mainly a matter of personal preference.
